Visiting on Sunday

We would be happy to welcome you to our Sunday service. Below you can find some practical information about what a typical Sunday morning looks like at our church.

What Happens on Sunday?

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 a.m., but the church is already open earlier.

From around 10:00 a.m., people begin arriving while the service is being prepared. During this time the worship team rehearses and the technical team prepares the service.

At 10:10 a.m., we hold a short prayer meeting for the service. Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for the service, the preaching, and the people who will attend.

Beginning of the Service

The service starts at 10:30 a.m. with a few announcements and a short Bible reading.

Worship

After that we have a time of worship with several songs, led by the worship team. This is a time where we sing together and focus our hearts on God.

Sermon

The sermon is the main part of the service and usually lasts about one hour.
The sermon is mostly preached in German and is translated into English live from the front, so that everyone can follow.

Closing

After the sermon we usually sing a few more worship songs and end the service with a closing prayer.

Fellowship After the Service

After the service our coffee bar opens, and many people stay to talk and spend time together. This is a relaxed time for fellowship where visitors can easily meet others from the church.

Is There Childcare?

Yes. During the service we offer several groups for children of different ages.

Toddler Group
Parents can stay together with their toddlers in a separate room where they can follow the service while their children play.

Kindergarten Group
Children of kindergarten age have their own group with age-appropriate activities and Bible teaching.

School Kids Group
School-age children also meet in their own group during the service.

Discovering Faith (for older kids)
For older children we offer a bi-weekly Bible learning class called Discovering Faith, where they can grow in their understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith.
